INTRODUCTION
Bus drivers are always difficult to clearly observe the situation around the bus because its long body. The All-around Blind Spot Detection System can help to solve this problem.
The system can detect the situation in the blind spots of left and right sides of the bus through millimeter wave radars, if there are other vehicles entering the detected area, besides LED lamp alarm and buzzer alarm ,the radar will trigger the related camera to capture the road conditions and output real-time video on bus display screen as well. According to these alarms and real-time video, the bus driver can adjust driving behavior in advance to reduce traffic accident when driving.

FUNCTIONS:
When there are obstacles detected in different area, the system will trigger related camera to capture the view from the area, and display the real-time video in the bus display screen. Meanwhile, the system will warn the driver with LED lamp and buzzer.
I. Blind Spot Detection(BSD)
When there is obstacles detected by radar sensor in BSD area, the system will warn the driver as follow:
Obstacle is detected in the left area:
1) LED lamp on; if left turn signal is on, the left LED lamp flashes and buzzer beeps;
2) Front view and left view camera working, the front view image and left view image will be displayed on the bus display screen.
Obstacle is detected in the right area:
1) LED lamp on; if right turn signal is on, the right LED lamp flashes and buzzer beeps;
2) Front view and right view camera working, the front view image and right view image will be displayed on the bus display screen.
II. Lane Changing Assistant(LCA)
When there is obstacles detected by radar sensor in LCA area, the system will warn the driver as follow:
Obstacle is detected in the rear-left area:
1) Left LED lamp flashes and buzzer beeps;
2) Rear view camera working, the rear view image will be displayed on the bus display screen.
Obstacle is detected in the rear-right area:
1) Right LED lamp flashes and buzzer beeps;
2) Rear view camera working, the rear view image will be displayed on the bus display screen.
III. Rear Cross Traffic Assistant(RCTA)
If driver shifts to gear "R", and there is obstacles detected by radar sensor in RCTA area, the system will warn the driver as follow:
Obstacle is detected in the rear-left area:
1) LED lamp on; if left turn signal is on, the left LED lamp flashes and buzzer beeps;
2) Rear view and left view camera working, the rear view image and left view image will be displayed on the bus display screen.
Obstacle is detected in the rear-right area:
1) LED lamp on; if right turn signal is on, the right LED lamp flashes and buzzer beeps;
2) Rear view and right view camera working, the Rear view image and right view image will be displayed on the bus display screen.
