INTRODUCTION:
The Millimeter Wave Radar Detection System through the millimeter wave radars which installed in the vehicle, to detect the objects around the vehicle. It helps driver to judge the distance from the front or rear approaching obstacles to complete reversing, parking or lane changing etc..
I. Blind Spot Detection(BSD)
When other vehicle is entering the pre-set blind spot detection area, the system will alert the driver by LED Light and buzzer accordingly.
II. Lane Changing Assistant(LCA)
When other vehicle is passing by the detected area (on the left and right sides of the vehicle),the LED light will be on, which means it is dangerous for lane changing. Meanwhile, if the turning signal is on, the system will alert the driver by beep sounds and flashing LED light; if the turning signal is off, the buzzer alarm will be off and LED light will stop flashing as well.
III. Rear Cross Traffic Alert(RCTA)
When vehicle is reversing out of the parking space(speed＞ 2 km/h), the system will be activated and detect the areas in 20m from the rear-left and rear-right. It will alert the driver if there is pedestrian, vehicle or other obstacles approaching.
IV. Door Open Warning(DOW)
When vehicle stop and the door is opening, if there is object entering the detected area and will catch the vehicle within 3.2 seconds, the system will alert driver or passenger by LED light or buzzer.
